Editorial
As an editor and writer for publications like O, the Oprah Magazine; Entertainment Weekly; Real Simple, and BUST Magazine, I’ve written long-form features and cover stories, top-edited everything from personal essays to lip-gloss roundups, interviewed celebrities, and commissioned big-name writers. I was the *first person to use the phrase “bong water” in an issue of O Magazine. Yes, I have met Oprah.

Here’s a small sampling of my work:
My feature for O's July 2019 issue on Footsteps, an organization that assists those who've left the insular world of ultra-Orthodox Judaism
Winner of a Folio award, this feature from O's May 2018 issue focused on a fascinating organization called League of Kitchens, which offers students cooking lessons in the homes of immigrant women chefs
My feature—for O's April 2018 issue—on a line of cannabis teas, and the fanciful parties in California where they're sampled
An interview for Entertainment Weekly with Nick Jonas, singer and enduring hunk
An essay for The Small Bow on my brother's death, and the complications of grief
I've written many cover stories for BUST Magazine (on celebrities including Elijah Wood, Eve, Rose McGowan, Grimes, and Jenny Lewis), but especially loved talking to Hayley Williams, frontwoman of the band Paramore
To write this feature on happiness for O's July 2018 issue, I interviewed some of my favorite people: My coworkers
Here's a sample "Let's Eat" section for O, which I oversaw as the magazine's food editor
For Real Simple, a delicious investigation of a piping-hot trend: Detroit-style pizza
I spearheaded countless themed feature packages for O but this one—on extraordinary families for the March 2019 issue—was especially fun
For EW, I spoke with the then-12-year-old phenom Maddie Ziegler, a reality-TV phenom and star of Sia's videos
An example of my monthly column for O (called "Where Are You Going?")
